Product Overview
The Optilab DFB-CWDM series are multi-band CWDM Distributed Feedback (DFB) laser sources in a compact 1U housing. They are designed for general laboratory and device testing applications. The DFB-CWDM is a reliable and cost effective DFB laser source for providing up to 9 different CWDM DFB wavelengths (8 standard CWDM wavelengths plus optional 1310 nm wavelength) on a single output fiber. The CWDM DFB laser drive current are precisely controlled to ensure constant output power.
All 8 CWDM DFB laser are combined into a single output port, utilizing a low loss CWDM multiplexer. With optional Tap model, the DFB-CWDM provides all 8 independent CWDM wavelength on 8 separate output ports via an internal 10% tap of the source DFB lasers.
